She also specialises in behaviour change inc. health, road safety and bush-fire. Previously National Chief Strategy Officer at WPP’s Wunderman Thompson, Angela is widely awarded and has served as Chair of the APG, on the Communications Council Board, the Effies Committee and numerous award judging panels.

He led the McDonald’s business in New Zealand when the client won Client of the Year at the annual Effectiveness Awards. He helped turnaround the fortunes of DDB Sydney as GM, seeing it win B&T’s State and National Agency of the year as well as Employer of the year during his tenure. After running and building the Melbourne office of multinational agency Wunderman Thompson (JWT) from an office of 30 people to 120, over ten years, Mike joined Bastion to lead its Creative team.

With over 20 years of experience in digital strategy and brand innovation, Ben currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer, Digital at Bastion, having joined following the acquisition of AnalogFolk Australia in March 2024. Ben has served on the Australian Pork Industry Marketing Board Committee and has been an influential member of the Advertising Council Australia (ACA) Effies Steering Group. Ben was also the CoChair of the Account Planning Group (APG) from 2019 to 2021. Holding an MA in International Political Economy, he started his career in social trend forecasting at the Future Foundation Think Tank, later becoming the Futures Editor at Leo Burnett in London. His significant roles in Australia included Head of Strategy at Amnesia Razorfish, where he led digital transformations for major brands such as Qantas and Australia Post. Ben’s strategic insight has also contributed to global initiatives like Nike’s sustainability strategy and Samsung’s brand sponsorship of the Sydney Opera House. His work at is previous agency led to a Gold APAC Effie and seven Effie finalists, highlighting his profound impact on digital marketing and strategic innovation. Ben’s financial services experience includes Westpac, CBUS and Australian Super.
As Chief Strategy Officer - Digital Brand, Ben’s role is to work with progressive businesses and organisations to drive brand growth and innovation through digital communication, emerging media, digital experience, content & social, commerce, and nascent technologies. While owner and CSO of AnalogFolk Australia (acquired by Bastion in March 2024) the agency was named Agency of the Year for Digital, Social and Content by Campaign Asia, and won the prestigious Gold APAC Effie for Hyundai’s "4 Second Reviews" social campaign (the highlight amongst 6 local, regional, and global best practice Effie award finalists). Over the years has chaired the APG in Australia and been an advisor to the NSW Government and Australian Pork. Ben’s other career highlights include redesigning the BOM weather app, leading the digital transformation of Australia Post and engineering Samsung’s brand sponsorship of the Sydney Opera House. Ben has presented at Google’s Mountain View HQ, podcasted for the Wall Street Journal and has lectured on strategic leadership at Sydney University Business School. Kaelene Morton has over 15 years experience in production and leadership roles. She was Creative Services Manager at McCann Healthcare and then went onto become a Senior Project Manager at Leo Burnett in London. She moved back to Australia and was transferred to Leo Burnett Melbourne, where she spent 7 years as their Production Manager overseeing all studio, content and photography. Kaelene is our lead producer in Melbourne working under our international Bastion Make Model. Tertiary Education experience includes campaign work for Victoria University.
