Scott is a strategic communicator, adviser and campaign director with almost 20 years’ experience. Previously a director at the Business Council of Australia, he led the member engagement and strategy function, working closely with CEOs of ASX 200 companies. Scott’s background is in journalism and has also held leadership roles at a large public affairs agency.

Peter has extensive experience in communications, marketing, major events and commercial strategy. He has held a range of senior management roles across media, agencies and elite sport and has strong strategy and issues management skills. Elliot began his career as a lawyer at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, with a focus on financial services regulation and compliance and the obligations of market participants, before moving into corporate affairs.

Katrina Shute Principal Consultant - Training and Capability
Katrina Shute is a Media Trainer, Journalist and Presenter with over 20 years experience in television, radio and print media. As an on camera reporter and anchor for Network Ten for over a decade, Katrina developed a keen news sense and an understanding of the key elements of effective audience engagement.
During her reporting career Katrina covered news across the spectrum from major political stories to emergency events, with a specialisation in health, winning a national award for excellence in medical reporting. This experience has given her first hand insight into the demands of high pressure information delivery and the sensitivities surrounding certain events. With added experience as a presenter for ABC radio, features writer for a magazine publication in Hong Kong and podcast host for a national charity, Katrina has conducted thousands of interviews and understands the fears people face when public speaking, and more importantly, how to overcome them.
These skills have allowed her to turn her focus from reporting to training, having spent the past three years assisting clients nationwide to prepare for interviews and presentations. Now established as Bastion Reputation’s Principal Consultant in Training and Capability, Katrina assists clients across all industries to implement the skills required for effective audience engagement to excel in every media and presentation opportunity.

Andrea has over 20 years’ experience in the communications industry, working at both global and Australian multimedia companies, as well as advertising agencies. Andrea is a highly driven and experienced client and project director, specialising in performance of client service teams, client relationship engagement, strategy, workflow, and experience and product strategy and development. She has held senior roles and led large client service teams, as well as managing blue chip private sector clients and government accounts, at media organisations and advertising agencies, working across strategy, creative and production.

Sally Taylor Senior Communications Strategist
Sally is a communications professional with experience in government relations, strategy and media. She has held senior positions for the NSW Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Early Childhood Education and Education and the Minister for Agriculture and Western NSW. She has also worked in the office of the Deputy Premier on two election campaigns.
Throughout her career, Sally has developed media strategies for complex issues in the Aboriginal affairs, early childhood, education, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, minerals, and regional NSW spaces. As a result of her previous roles, Sally has developed a strong passion for the ever-changing media and political landscape in Australia and has cultivated networks and relationships across business, media, government agencies and politics, at both NSW and Commonwealth levels.
Sally began her career working in agricultural science and sports marketing. She has also worked in agency, looking after clients in the automotive sector and partnerships in the sporting space.

Blanca has a keen interest to specialise in risk and issues management, corporate campaigns, and digital insights and transformation. Blanca holds a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Relations and Art History) from the University of Melbourne.
Prior to joining Bastion, Blanca has experience volunteering for international organisations such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), where she was responsible for content creation and execution. Blanca is fluent in Spanish and used this skill at the UNDP in Jordan and Colombia to translate a wide range of their communication and marketing materials.
