The ‘ades’ (Power and Gator) have long positioned their product as drinks for elite athletes. Maximus rejects the idea that high-performance should always be the end goal because we believe big effort is equally worth celebrating.
To champion everyday effort at a grassroots level, we put on a search to find the nation’s not-so-great social sports teams – with the ultimate winner walking away with a Maximus sponsorship to help lift them from the bottom of the ladder to… somewhere a little higher than that.

Crossing paid and organic social across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, we worked with Aussie comedian Aaron Gocs to put out a call for not-so-great social sports teams to enter the competition. This included:
– 1 x 30” Hero asset, with 15” and 6” cutdowns
– 3 x Vox Pop interviews
– 2 x collaboration videos with influencers Will Taylor and Ben Stubbs
– 8 x BAU organic posts to support activity
– 1 x competition microsite to capture entries
The winners will be announced in mid-May with an interview with Gocsy, and we’ll work with the team to follow their journey across the season.
