As a senior strategic leader at media and technology companies in Australia and the US, Jenni has extensive experience redefining editorial brands for the future, building strategic partnerships across the media industry and crafting product and content strategies to grow new audiences. She has spent her career at the forefront of digital media and the growth of content on the internet, from the golden years of Yahoo, the early days of news.com.au, the building of Pedestrian into a youth media powerhouse and the exciting, innovative years of exponential growth at Mashable.
As a senior editorial and strategic voice at Mashable in Australia and New York, she led video, audience and content strategy teams globally for the tech-media company and launched innovative products such as the first-to-market vertical video player, an e-commerce brand and data-led products to drive newsroom efficiencies. Jenni also brings deep knowledge of the workings of traditional media companies due to leading the digital transformation of large organisations, including the US local news broadcaster TEGNA.
Most recently, she worked in news partnerships at Meta, driving innovation for publishers through new content and products such as Facebook News and overseeing significant investments in the news industry. She also provided strategic and industry guidance on Meta’s response to the News Media Bargaining Code. At her role at Bastion Transform, she leads business development and strategy for the content, tech and media arm of the consulting business. It allows her to use her industry knowledge to help companies transform for the next iteration of the internet, while ensuring revenue sustainability.

Matt Robinson leads Digital Brand Experience at Bastion, driving innovative and meaningful connections between brands and their audiences through digital. With nearly 30 years of experience spanning agency-side, client-side, media, creative, and digital realms, and recently named one of Australia's top 50 creative leaders by Mediaweek, Matt champions innovation for growth by embracing the cultural impact of technology .
Matt joined Bastion following its acquisition of AnalogFolk Australia, an award-winning digital creative agency he founded and grew into one of Australia's leading players. Under his leadership, AnalogFolk earned multiple Agency of the Year accolades and a Gold APAC Effie, delivering tangible results for iconic clients including Afterpay, Hyundai, PlayStation, Canon, Jacob's Creek and Foxtel.
Starting his career in media planning, Matt was an early advocate of digital marketing and advertising, sharpening his strategic insights across roles in Sydney and London. He now explores how AI and emerging technologies can authentically enhance human creativity and decision-making.
Outside of his role at Bastion, Matt regularly contributes to industry publications, judges prestigious awards such as Spikes Asia and The Effies, and mentors the next generation of marketing talent. He loves partnering with clients to drive strategic brand growth, digital innovation, and navigate the evolving marketing landscape.

Ben Hourahine

Ben Hourahine Chief Strategy Officer - Digital Brand
With over 20 years of experience in digital strategy and brand innovation, Ben currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer, Digital at Bastion, having joined following the acquisition of AnalogFolk Australia in March 2024. Ben has served on the Australian Pork Industry Marketing Board Committee and has been an influential member of the Advertising Council Australia (ACA) Effies Steering Group. Ben was also the CoChair of the Account Planning Group (APG) from 2019 to 2021. Holding an MA in International Political Economy, he started his career in social trend forecasting at the Future Foundation Think Tank, later becoming the Futures Editor at Leo Burnett in London. His significant roles in Australia included Head of Strategy at Amnesia Razorfish, where he led digital transformations for major brands such as Qantas and Australia Post. Ben’s strategic insight has also contributed to global initiatives like Nike’s sustainability strategy and Samsung’s brand sponsorship of the Sydney Opera House. His work at is previous agency led to a Gold APAC Effie and seven Effie finalists, highlighting his profound impact on digital marketing and strategic innovation. Ben’s financial services experience includes Westpac, CBUS and Australian Super.
As Chief Strategy Officer - Digital Brand, Ben’s role is to work with progressive businesses and organisations to drive brand growth and innovation through digital communication, emerging media, digital experience, content & social, commerce, and nascent technologies. While owner and CSO of AnalogFolk Australia (acquired by Bastion in March 2024) the agency was named Agency of the Year for Digital, Social and Content by Campaign Asia, and won the prestigious Gold APAC Effie for Hyundai’s "4 Second Reviews" social campaign (the highlight amongst 6 local, regional, and global best practice Effie award finalists). Over the years has chaired the APG in Australia and been an advisor to the NSW Government and Australian Pork. Ben’s other career highlights include redesigning the BOM weather app, leading the digital transformation of Australia Post and engineering Samsung’s brand sponsorship of the Sydney Opera House. Ben has presented at Google’s Mountain View HQ, podcasted for the Wall Street Journal and has lectured on strategic leadership at Sydney University Business School. Ben’s work has been recognised and awarded across the board, including by the IPA, AWARD, AMI, AIMCO, Contagious, Campaign, Mumbrella, AWARD, Adnews and many more.
